YouCoachPoker.com is a poker coaching website which permits any
user to submit their own poker videos and offer coaching for a
fee. Coaches have the option of verifying their usernames on
various poker sites, therefor proving they are who they say they
are. Not only will you get lessons from the right person, but our
escrow system makes every transaction safe and secure!
There are two types of items that can be purchased. Premium poker
videos and poker coaching. The premium videos are set at a fixed
price of $1.00 per video. Upon purchasing, you may stream that
video for three days. An all access monthly pass can be purchased
for $25.00, which gives you unlimited access to all videos for a
month. Poker coaching fees are totally up to the coach. They are
billed per hour, and some may offer a discounted bulk rate.
Coaches will receive a $0.50 for each video that is purchased for
$1.00. Proceeds from monthly passes will be divided up via an
undisclosed method. Coaches will receive 92% of earnings for all
completed coaching sessions that they have sold and completed.
Every successfully submitted video gets sent to the Videos
section. Once there, anyone may view and rate it for free. After a
certain amount of views, if that video has a good enough rating,
it will then be transferred to the premium section. If not, it
will either remain in the video section or be removed from the
site.
An individual lesson is a one on one lesson with a coach. After
purchasing the lesson, the funds are held in escrow and contact
information is exchanged. The coach and student then determine a
time to meet and conduct the lesson.
A group lesson is a four on one lesson with a coach. This type of
lesson is only available to the lower limits as a way to offer
more affordable coaching. This lesson is purchased as a bundle of
four hours. During these four sessions, everyone (the four
students and the coach) sits in on a session for each student, and
watches and learn as the coach discusses the play of the student
who is playing. The coach may also review a few hands, or discuss
topics, at the end of each session.
If you purchased a group lesson and it is not filling up you may
request a refund one week after your initial purchase. This gives
time for the group to fill.
A Skype account is necessary to communicate during the coaching
lessons. It is free to download and use: www.skype.com
We have compiled a list of free programs and a tutorial of how to use them. See Ans-10 below for the links and the tutorial.
Advertising external products through the videos is not permitted.
If you wish to advertise on YouCoachPoker.com, submit a request
through our "Contact Us" section.
There are three types of ratings. Ratings for videos, coaching,
and users. Ratings for videos are user generated and based on the
quality of the video. The better the video, the better the rating.
Similarly, coaching ratings are an average of user based ratings
which review the value and quality of the coaching. Ratings for
users are based on coaching lessons purchased or sold, but it
reflects the total number of good transactions. Every user has the
ability to rate their transactions, letting other coaches and
students know what to expect. Give a good product and get a good
rating.
Videos should be at least 20 minutes in length. Video should be
informative, and geared towards an audience looking to improve
their poker game. No external ads are allowed in the video.
Live sessions are special group seminars conducted in person with
the coach. These are group lessons taught at various locations
such as Las Vegas, Atlantic City, et cetera. Only certain coaches
will be able to offer these lessons, and they most be approved by
the admins. Details on what the price includes will be available
on the coach's profile page.
In the future we do plan on adding a section to purchase
literature from a coach. If you have written your own material,
own the copyright, and want to sell it on YouCoachPoker.com,
contact us via the support page.
